The John class today have 'kept the word about Jesus' endurance,' that is, they have followed his example and endured. (Hebrews12:2, 3; 1 Peter 2:21) They have thus been greatly encouraged by Jesus' further words to the congregation in Philadelphia: "The one that conquers-I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will by no means go out from it anymore." - REVELATION 3:12a.
