By the 1980's, U.S. npoloticalpower had led the more porivileged nations in creating a higher standard of living, in fughinfg sisease, an d in advancing technology.  It ha even placed 12 men on the moon. It is no wonder, therefore, that mankind in general has fiollowed the wild beast with admiration."
