Jehovah God took the man and settled him in the garden of Eden to cultivate it and to take care of it. Jehovah God also gave this command to the man: "From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day that you eat from it you will certainl die." - GENESIS 2:15-17.
God placed the first man, Adam, in the garden of Eden, an earthly paradise filled with abundant wildlife and beautiful vegetation. There were frut-bearing trees from which Adam could freely eat. However, Jehovah God clearly told Adam not to eat from specific tree, warning Adam that if he did, he would die.
