Moral Values on the Decline

"THAT sort of thing never used to happen,"  commented Helmut Schmidt, former chancellor of Germany.  He was bemoaning recent cases of gross dishonesty by public officials that made the headlines.  "Moral standards have been lost through greed," he said.

Many would agree with him.  Moral values that are rooted in God's Word, the Bible, and that have long been wides accepted as  guide for what is right and what is wrong are being  pushed aside. This is the case even in lands nominally associated with Christianity.
