Should the Name Jehovah Appear in the New Testament?

 DOES it matter whether God's name appears in the Bible? God obviously felt so. His name, a represented by the four Hebrew characters known as the Tetragrammaton, appear almost 7,000 times in the original Hebrew text of what is commonly called the Old Testament.


Bible scholars acknowledge that God's personal name appears in the Old Testament of Hebrew Scriptures. However, many feel that it did not appear in the original Greek manuscripts of the so-called New Testament.
